The hidden underground closes of Mary King’s Close is one of the most popular paranormal places in Scotland. Many people have been reported to have died during the 1640′s due to a plague. In November 2009, a tourist called Anna took a photo while they were leaving the close.
Anna said, “We were both quickly taking a snap before leaving the Mary kings Close vault tour in Edinburgh on the 28th Nov 09. As the last of the group we were having a discussion about the close and not until we looked at the digital camera a few days later did we see the figure in the door way. There were no other members left behind us and the door where the figure is standing had minutes ago been locked. This is a dead end close and it would have been impossible for someone to have suddenly appeared there. Plenty of other weird experiences were felt on this tour and I would have second thoughts now about going back.”
As you can see, the photos show a head of a male ghost appearing behind the structure.
